This restaurant is busy most nights, which is a good sign. Located on Toorak Road, this is the restaurant’s third location. The restaurant has an elegant ambience, with its painted gold walls and antique chandeliers. It is recommended that you make table reservations as the restaurant can be very busy at night. Feeling adventurous? Try their famous spicy duck tongue. The restaurant serves really good hot and spicy fish slices pot, the fish slices melt in your mouth.

A very authentic Szechuan experience - right down to the fairly ordinary service, crowded tables, noisy experiences. That aside, the food is exceptional (the best I've had anywhere since I've eaten in Szechuan) and the portions very generous. Did I mention exceptionally hot? (No, they did not tone it down for the Australian palate...)
Anyway, you go for the food, not the experience (unless you include communal cooking around a hotpot part of the experience - will do that next time...) Reserve a table or you'll be waiting a while. Looking forward to next time...

Tried this place with a few friends. we didnt make reservations and the queue was extremely long. waited for 40minutes to get a table. the wait was worth it. the serving is very large, extremely spicy. good hot pot. we will be back but definitely will not forget to make table booking this time.

Simply love the food in this restaurant! They are extremely spicy (for the first timers) - but once the endorphin kicks in, you cannot help but to have it again. I need to eat here at least once a week. A must try dish for all is their "Spicy Fish Hot Pot" and of course, for those dare-devils (like me) - the spicy duck tongue! Absolutely divine at each bite ! Thumbs up and I'm going back next week for the hot pot! They look sizzling hot and spicy to me - but I'm loving and salivating just thinking of it.
