Bistro Thierry

Located on Malvern Road, Bistro Thierry brings a touch of Paris to Toorak. Bistro Thierry has the ambience, warmth and hospitality of an authentic Parisian bistro. French waiters in black waist coats, white shirts and aprons served authentic French bistro food to regulars and out-of-towners enjoying the feeling of a night out in Paris without the jet lag. The menu features a combination of classics and modern French dishes, from escargots to steak frites to selection of fine French cheeses.

• Steak Tartare (Traditional finely chopped eye fillet, lightly spiced, served with Melba toast)
• Escargots à la Bourguignonne (Snails baked in their shells with garlic and parsley butter)
• Le Steak-Frites 250gm (Eye fillet steak served with fries and your choice of sauce - Pepper, Béarnaise or Red wine and shallot)
• Canard, sauce Bigarade (Twice cooked duck served with Asian spiced vegetable puree and orange sauce)
• Jarret de Veau en cocotte à l’estragon (Veal shanks braised in white wine with king brown mushrooms tarragon and truffle oil)
• Soufflé au Chocolat (Chocolate soufflé served with hot chocolate sauce and vanilla bean ice cream)
